By accessing or using the CANE HANDICRAFTS OF INDIA website (the "Site"), creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.
2. Products & Descriptions
We make every effort to display our products accurately, including images, colours, dimensions, and descriptions. However, due to the handcrafted nature of our products, slight variations in colour, texture, or dimensions may occur and are not considered defects.
All product images are for illustrative purposes. The actual product may vary slightly from the images shown due to lighting, screen calibration, and the handmade nature of cane and bamboo goods.
3. Orders & Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is confirmed only when you receive an official Order Confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including in cases of:
- Stock unavailability after the order is placed
- Errors in pricing or product descriptions
- Suspected fraudulent activity
If your order is cancelled after payment, you will receive a full refund within 5–7 business days.
4. Pricing
All prices on the Site are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, if any, are shown separately at checkout.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. However, once an order is confirmed, the price at the time of confirmation will be honoured.
5. Payment
We accept Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, and EMI options through our payment gateway (Razorpay). By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorised to use that payment method.
All payment information is encrypted and processed by our payment gateway. We do not store any card or payment credentials on our servers.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. CANE HANDICRAFTS OF INDIA is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photographs and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
7. Returns & Refunds
Our return policy is outlined in detail on our Return Policy page. In summary, we accept returns within 7 days of delivery for damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Items must be unused and in original packaging.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Change of mind purchases
- Items that have been used, assembled, or modified
- Custom or made-to-order products
